Africa Academy for Public Health (AAPH) in Collaboration with the University of Dodoma (UDOM) as well as Management and Development for Health (MDH) investigators conducted a one day workshop in Tanga engaging the Tanga City Health Management Team, in reviewing preliminary findings and deriving the lessons learned, together with planning for dissemination for the ARISE Adolescent Health Survey: Harnessing longitudinal data and digital technologies to improve adolescent health across sub-Saharan Africa, conducted in Tanga City. The workshop was successful in that the findings informed areas of improvement for ongoing interventions among adolescents, and provided an avenue for generating novel and context-specific adolescent health intervention approaches.
